Jonathan Mueller
Hello, my name is Jonathan Mueller. I’m not your stereotypical graphic designer. I’m a 6 foot 3 inch red- head with an obsession for basketball, hip-hop, and chinese food. No tats, piercings, or Jack Johnson type music playing in my system. At a young age I developed an interest in art that grew from my moms positive reinforcement. With my mothers encourgement I entered a few drawing competitions as a kid and suprisingly won some stuff. As I neared the end of my high school education, my drawing skills had improved and it seemed to be the only thing I enjoyed other than trying to “be like Mike”.
With Michael Jordan posters covering every inch of wall space in my room it has now become clear to me that I was highly influenced by branding. I even went to the extreme of painting Jordan logos on my outdoor basketball court! But now I’m on the other side of the fence, trying to create brands that people are passionate about. I still have a strong passion for art and it continues to influence my design style which seems to change, improve, and grow on a daily basis. My goal as a designer is to be versatile and clear in my communication. What I love about design is that every project creates a new challenge.
View my portfolioI pursued my dream to play basketball on the collegiate level and enjoyed the experience for two years at Hannibal LaGrange College before transfering schools to focus on my career in graphic design. Throughout college I was able to maintain a high level of achievement earning a art portfolio award from the Univ. of Central Missouri in 2005. After graduating from college I found a job that allowed me to continue improving my design skills using the Adobe Creative Suite. As my skills grew I became hungry for something more challenging. I teamed up with two other like minded entrepreneurs and we started 365 Interactive Design. This has been the most valuable experience for me as a designer.
